Welcome to NairaWaves! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NairaWaves mobile application and website at https://nairawaves.com. By using our services, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

NairaWaves enables users to:

• Buy internet data and airtime

• Pay electricity bills

• Subscribe to DStv and GOtv

• Book domestic and international flights (Provider: TravelStart)

• Purchase event tickets

• Pay education-related fees (WAEC, JAMB, school fees)

• Convert airtime and data to cash

2. Eligibility

To use NairaWaves, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old

• Have a valid Nigerian phone number and payment method

• Agree to abide by all applicable laws

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during sign-up. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity on your account.

4. Use of the App

You agree to:

• Use NairaWaves only for lawful purposes

• Not engage in fraud or abuse of the platform

• Not attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the app

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Payment and Refund Policy

All transactions are processed through secured third-party APIs or payment providers.

• Payments are final upon confirmation.

• Refunds are only issued if a service fails due to our error or the error of our partners.

• Airtime/data-to-cash conversions are final once successfully completed.

6. Airtime & Data Conversion

You agree not to:

• Use stolen, fraudulent, or borrowed airtime for conversion

• Initiate chargebacks after successful conversions

Violations may lead to account suspension or legal action.

7. Limitation of Liability

NairaWaves is not liable for:

• Delays or failures from service providers (e.g., electricity companies, betting platforms)

• Network downtime or transaction failures due to third-party APIs

• Financial losses caused by your own actions or negligence

8. Intellectual Property

All logos, app designs, and service names are the intellectual property of NairaWaves or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9. Privacy and Data

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice for violations of these terms or fraudulent activity.
